Hello Everyone,

this is my 1st post as I usually do more of the reading the threads, anyway I had bought a G37x Sedan after selling my E46 M3 convertible, I was surprised what a bad handling car it ended up to be, I did have a G35X sedan, and I thought that handle much better than my G37X, So I spend some money and did the Swift springs, Hotchkis sway bar, Cusco strut brace and summer tires, The car now handles like about 75% of the M3. So I go do the wheel alignment and here what it looks like, looking at the report, it looks like the rear may need some adjustable arms to get it within spec. As that is what was written on the report, do I need the rear Camber Arms? and will this one do? https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...37-p-3980.html

Also on the report, it looks like the front could use a kit? The report says no specified adjustment by the manufacturer, so am I ok with the spec or do I need a kit to correct it, and if I did need a kit, what would be the one that will work, any suggestion would greatly be appreciated!

I’m surprised the X doesn’t have camber adjustments. The RWD does.

It looks like all he did was change the toe? Was this a NTB/Firestone type place?

a touch extra negative camber on the rear won't kill you. i'd leave well enough alone. you're either in spec or very close to it front and back.

Overall your not too far out of factory spec. I lowered my X coupe with swift springs and my alignment sheet looked similar afterward. I kept an eye on tire wear. I had some uneven wear some of which I attributed to being a little aggressive in my cornering. That said after nearly 20k miles I decided to put rear camber arms and front upper control arms on to help.

The SPC rear arms that you are looking at you may not work unless an update has been done within the last 6-8 months. I initially looked at SPC for my rear arms however because like you, I put Hotchkis bars on. The SPC arms won't clear the bigger bar. I ended up going with SPL rear arms instead. It would also be best to pick up a set of rear toe bolts as once camber is adjusted within spec your toe is likely to go out and won't be able to be brought back in spec without some modification. Toe bolts are pretty inexpensive. The front upper control arms from the factory are not adjustable so you could look at SPC for those, however they get a little pricey.

You have some really nice numbers, in my opinion. That rear camber will help you put down power while turning. The biggest issue for us is toe-in and your toe numbers are really good.

KidJai06 , thanks for the info, I am going to see how it goes for the next 5k and maybe convert like you did down the road. Also do you happen to have the model numbers for the front and back arms you mention or a link to them? Being that you already have them installed and so I know it will work with mine car when the the time comes for me to convert.

Thanks for your inputs, I do notice that turn in are much quicker and I have confident to push the the car, like I did in my M3.

FWIW: I'm making preparations for doing some further upgrade and fine tuning of my overall suspension. I am giving strong consideration to switching to the SPL Upper Control Arms, they are more expensive than SPC (≈$800 vs ≈$450) but their quality is pretty impressive.

I like the SPL FUCA for its engineering. I also recently acquired their rear sway bar end links. Some beefy parts.
