best Lowering springs

Looking for the overall best lowering springs for the sedan. I want to keep a similar ride quality and not have to change out the struts unless needed. I've done some research but can't decide between Swift sport springs , H&R sport springs or Eibach springs. I want to hear yall's opinions on these springs and which one would overall be the best. Thanks for the help!

Depends on how low you want to go. H&R springs are much lower than Swift and Eibach which are very mild. between Swift and Eibach my choice was Swift.

They're all quality products, choose the drop you want

I'd consider replacing your shocks at the same time, if they're old or have a lot of miles on them.

Swift
Front 1.2
Rear .8
H&R
Front 1.3
Rear 1.2
Eibach
Front 1.5
Rear 1.2

These are the sedan numbers. Not to worried about the amount of drop but which one has the best ride quality and handling.

Also my car only has 20k miles so I will probably keep the shocks.

If you want proper ride and handling you'll want to change the shocks too. How many miles on your car? Is it an "X"?

for RWD, maybe consider cheap coilovers like the Tiens too, thay arent that much more than springs and the shocks will last much longer given they are designed for them and coils tend to give a better ride than a mix of lowering springs and stock shocks. Also the install is easier on coil overs that come preassembled for the fronts.

I think the Tein's reuse the upper shock mount don't they? So you still need to disassemble the OEM fronts I believe.

And there's probably a reason why a complete coilover setup isn't much more than just springs

I'm not really able to afford coils right now because I want other mods as well so I'm just trying to find the best springs available.

I wouldn't go by the drop data for the H&Rs, they are a deep drop spring in the 2" range unless they've truly gone to a different spring from the ones I've seen. They are a deeper drop than Tein S Techs which are pretty deep too. You would need full F&R camber kits w/ those sets to keep your tires wearing well.

lol good point. I'm not saying Tiens are the greatest. They are cheap. but compared to stock struts and lowering springs, its just another option given the price point and I would suspect the valving is better matched for the spring.

I think you're right about the tophats though...I think they're the only coilovers I've seen that do that

I don;t have link offhand, but several links have been posted on this site in several threads and a number of vendors on this site sell them...if i recall correctly they were in the $450ish range

you can also check the classified on for used coilovers. They come up pretty regularly but sell quickly so check often.

good luck

Is that for the Sedan though? I know the coupe has a further drop than the sedans.
