Pulls right on hard braking
Anyone have any ideas why my G37xS coupe pulls to the right when I brake hard at higher speed?
Alignment recently done and runs straight when not braking. I have OEM rotors and using Nismo brake pads. Winter tire are in great condition and new from this winter. Also, I noticed my brake fluid in the reservoir dropped by 1 mm recently. Is this a sign of potential leak in the brake lines somwhere? Thank you all in advance. |
Sounds like something wrong with the piston inside the caliper. How old are the brakes? If you're pads are worn the brake fluid technically should drop some (correct me if I'm wrong). I just did pads/rotors all the way around a couple weeks ago on mine.

The Akebono brake system is 6 years old (bought the car brand new). How do I know if it is a brake caliper issue? If so, driver side or passenger side? |
Because one side is gripping less than the other probable need to rebuild the caliper

Possibly but it's also best to check all of it

I had a similar issue and it ended up being the caliper pin wasn’t moving as it should. I removed it, cleaned it, and supplied new caliper pin grease and boot. Good as new. Not so much for the rotor though as it had been gouged.

Thanks all. I will have all the calipers and pins inspected. Hopefully, its nothing serious.
