do you mean, like the aftermarket/replacement sub frame bushings? if sho that would be cheating lol...I thought they were marketing these collars as an alternative to changing the actual bushings
for clarity, at about 1:30 in they show it with a solid diff bushing without the collars and then with the solid diff bushing with the collars...

If the subframe bushings on your car are original, and you've got a decade+ of year-round, northeast driving with typical miles on the car... I'd think you're the perfect candidate to test out this theory.

Lego, this seems like a DIY for you. For $150, you could buy them, install & review. If they're keepers, then it's a win. If you don't like it or are ambivalent enough to take them out, you could easily sell them here for near cost... just like you did with the Z1 Transmission Mount.

Lego, this seems like a DIY for you. For $150, you could buy them, install & review. If they're keepers, then it's a win. If you don't like it or are ambivalent enough to take them out, you could easily sell them here for near cost... just like you did with the Z1 Transmission Mount.

Yeah, I agree with the need for independent testing.
My car was an early 2012 manufacturer date California car, with 6 track days before I did both the diff bushings and the subframe bushings.
However, it just makes so much sense to do both while you're already in there - which is where the value comes in for me. I'll probably hit the track a little later this year, to see if I can provide any feedback from there.

lol all good, it does seem to make a bit of a difference in the video, but not nearly as significant as from the before/after of the Diff bushing...diminishing returns for sure...
