Aftermarket brakes
Hi all
Does anyone have any suggestion's for some aftermarket brakes for a 2010 g37x that does not have the Brembos on it ? Also I want to do SS lines as well at the same time so any suggestions on those would be appreciated. Thanks |
I would highly suggest you go OEM with the Akebono route. Much cheaper than aftermarket kits which can be 2x the price.
Check out our forum vendors for complete kit. |
Are you looking for new pads & rotors or a whole new Big Brake Kit?

I was thinking just pads and rotors, I still want everything like the ABS to still function the same but would like slotted and drilled rotors.

I have the stoptech kit, mine are just the slotted but they also make a drilled and slotted version, I have nothing but good things to say about the pads, just make sure to bed them in. 60-10mph 10 times, NO STOPPING IN BETWEEN, get them ****ers hot and even lol
What type of brake pads do you recommend ? (materiel wise) ? And have any of you done the SS brake line ? Is it worth if ? Thanks |
I tried drilled rotors once years ago and found them to be excessively loud. Definitely not what I wanted on a street car. I swapped back to solid versions. I'm curious if drilled or slotted are loud these days.

Otherwise i've noticed no loudness. |
