KSport AWD Coilovers

I'll give this a shot, though I'm not particularly used to posting reviews on products. Here goes...

The packaging:

eh, where's the beef?

I was shocked at how little packing material was included with the coils. Though nothing had been damaged or scratched, it was a bit alarming.

Quality:

The quality is quite impressive. I don't have any shots of them out of the box, and not on the car, but they're very well built. I was like a kid at x-mas who'd received far better than I'd asked for. Needless to say, I was very happy with the build of this product.

Fit and installment:

I didn't install them completely on my own, the shop I go to allows me to pitch in. However, the install was pretty straight-forward and took about 20 minutes per corner. The rear install no longer uses the spring perch, as you'll notice in the images below. Height adjustments are standard fare. Release the top nut and use the other for adjustments, spin the bottom shaft to reach the height of the lower nut, then tighten both when done.

Performance:

I wish I had a "before and after" Hotchkis install comparison, but they were installed about a week after the sways. All I can comment on is the heightened handling with a lower center of gravity. The Hotchkis Sways are amazing and, I feel, drastically change the driving experience by themselves. However, in conjunction with the KSports, the predictability in handling has increased. There's very little body-roll, but that could also be attributed to the sways. I've not experienced any noises or negative effects from these coils.

I was a little concerned about possibly needing a camber kit after the 1.25" drop, but after settling, the wheels tucked nicely and I've not noticed any adverse wear patterns after nearly a year.

I hope this helps someone!

I'd still opt for a quality alignment. Just because you aren't experiencing poor tire wear now doesn't mean a whole lot unfortunately.

+1 on this, at least get a rear camber kit. If you get aftermarket toe arms (SPL, Stance, Battle Version, Voodoo) you'll be able to remove the spring bucket. A little weight saving there.

I think that drop looks perfect. I'm still going to opt for only 1" due to the bad winters here. Do you have wheel spacers installed?

how are they holding up?? Any issues now that they have been on for a year?

What height did you end up settling on? Tire wear ok?

Still figuring out where I want the height. Lots of poorly maintained roads in Georgia
I’ve had k sports installed for 2 weeks. I had it installed with a bunch of stuff at same time so I can’t say what just the coilovers did but wow!!!! My installer said that they were ok quality. So far they ride pretty good. Again not sure what just the coils did but when paired with most of the spl catalog its awesome.

(edit) 2-1-2019
Nothing but issues from my ksports. The current sore topic for me is how they ride. They told me when I bought them that I would be able to track with them on and that they would love to help me set it up. Now that I’m having problems that is being held over my head and was told I would need a different setup to achieve my goal with tracking it (goal never changed since they placed the order directly for me). Also I have tried various troubleshooting requests they made and adjusted as such. Months of going back and forth with ksport. No solution. Still no solution to this current moment. I have done everything asked, tried everything. Even had the shop look it over again(extremely creditable ship). I know a few others with same issue. Cars are rwd and awd alike. All sedans however.
