Thanks guys! I'll check those out. Got some %20 off HF coupons to use and those freebies we all love/hate. I got a multimeter last time though so can't complain.

I bought mine from Griots Garage. Not a recommendation, just an option.

Am I missing something?

Ok, so I go to order the rotors:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=2002832&jsn=2

The description states 355mm for the front and 350mm for the rear. When I go to order though, there is no selection for me to choose "front" or "rear". I emailed Rock Auto to see what I had to do and they weren't much help and stated that the part will fit the front and the back. Not sure if they understand my application but the front has to be 355mm and the rear 350mm for the Akebonos, so is it a one size fits all?

No you definitely need the front 355mm, rear 350mm, both completely different part #s, the rear has the hub access for the e-brake pads to fit inside too.

Shoot me a PM tonight and I can get the proper #s for you if you can't get them prior.

Agreed, that's what I told the guy at Rock Auto in an email and he couldn't give me an answer. I think I have it figured out. Now I just need to figure out if I want Raybestos or Centric....

About to pick up a salvage 2011 IPL I won at an auction. I have a 2012 coupe x. Does anyone know if I can utilize the calipers and wheels on the X as an upgrade? No wheels were torn off in the crash so I expect the brackets etc, are fine?

I'm assuming you mean that you want to use the Akebono brake pkg and wheels from the crashed IPL on your current AWD coupe.

Yes you can, you will need to trim your dust shields and get banjo bolts for the rear calipers if you don't use the brake lines from the IPL.

The IPL wheels are staggered but it's only a 1/2" stagger (an 8.5 & 9" wheel width) so you can run 245/40/19s all around for AWD to function properly.

Thanks blnewt!

My plan is to get a few things off it that I want and sell the rest to recoup what I paid for it, Just want to break even. Any parts will be posted here first in classifieds. After that I'll have a buddy ebay it.

Love this site because I 99% of the time can find what I'm looking for if I have a question (maybe me) but couldn't find a straight answer to this one.

Again, thank you sir!
