My Stoptech Pads says on the box~"All Stoptech brake pads are 100% positive molded and include OE designed shims to eliminate noise associated with brake pad vibration. In addition each Stop Tech brake pad is scorched to remove any impurities in the friction material. While this does not eliminate the need to bed-in new pads it does provide improved stopping power right out of the box.
Might want to double check yours or contact Stoptech just to be sure (unless it CLEARLY states absolutely no bed-in is needed.
I'd hate for you to have poorly performing brake pads due to a misunderstanding.

Finally I did the brakes - Stoptech Street Performance...did the beding procedure and so far so good, seems to stop faster than my stock.
Also I was kinda shocked as all my pads had => than 5mm left thats like 40-50%. Last time my dealer said I have to change brakes soon, now I see they where just trying to make money. I did the job anyway so at least now I have my peace of mind.
Probably will try to sell the stock pads on ebay.
If anyone interested pm me, I will get the exact measurements tomorrow.

I've been really happy w/ the Stoptechs, they have a real nice bite when they get warmed up, quite a bit better than OEM.

Is the abundant dust after bed in stage normal?
I had my wheels cleaned inside out and after coming back from test drive my wheels had a lot of dust again.

They will dust up more than the OEMs, worth the tradeoff for the improved bite IMO.

Also I noticed that they kinda stick to the rotor when car comes to a complete stop and sometimes there is that noise like it will unglue from them. Is this normal in the beginning untill they get a bit worn?

Hey Rissen1k. Hope you come back to this thread. So after having the pads for a year, do you recommend them?

Thanks.
