PPL with Sport Akebono BBK, jump in here plz!

Hi guys I've recently installed an Akebono BBK on my 07 G35s sedan.

anyway to make the long story short, I ordered a Z1 premium SS brakes and they didn't fit in the back of my rear calipers. It's a completly different line. They have one of those blocks at the end there instead of a circle end link where bonjo bolt goes through and connects to the calliper, like in the 2nd pic below.

Now the question is what am I missing for the rear caliper for that rear SS line with the block on the end to work???? I've been told that you G37 guys with sport package brakes have different design brake line then we do, and that block connects to something additional that I still need for the rear caliper. Can someone please verify this???

On the Z1 site they mention 2 additional lines for car not equiped with the akebonos could that be it:

excerpt from Z1:
Z1 Premium Brake Lines fit 370Zs and G37s equipped with the larger Akebono brakes for the base price as listed with no additional hardware required. Cars equipped with the smaller base sliding calipers require 2 additional lines which can be included as an option below. Please select the appropriate model and options below:

Hey found some more info, I checked my friend's 350Z with Brembo's, looks like there is a hard line from block to caliper and a bracket to hold the block.

I Don't see the block in the picture there, it's kinda a complicated diagram, I don't entirely get it.

Look at the last diagram:

370Z(Z34) 462 Brake Piping & control - REAR PIPING: 2009+ (B/SPORT+T/SPORT) [B02}

Part# 46210 & 46211M is the lines with the block, which is what is included in the kit.

What I think you need is the following:
Part# 46315 & 46316 (the hard lines that go from Block to back of caliper)
Part # 55286X & 55287X (Brackets for the block)
Part # 44020A (the bolts for the Bracket for the block)(you will need 4 of these, 2 for each side)
Part# 08158-8301E (Banjo Bolt for hard line into Block) (you will need 2 of these)

Again that is what I am thinking as I have the same issue and I just order them from FB Parts.
Speak to Jomer there he can get it for you, they are not that expensive.

Hey can you take a good picture of your set up in the back sometime???

Alright thanks bro. Anyway I think I'll just get my shorter bonjo bolt and just keep my factory lines for now.

I appreciate a lot for the response. I will keep this in mind still.

I might actually do this later down the road, cause I don't want my $$ to rot when I payed for those brake lines. Gotta put it to use sometime.

Bumping an old thread.

It seems as though the non-akebono people can use their stock lines and just buy the proper rear banjo bolts?

Do you need to buy the banjo bolts for the front as well?

2 banjo's bolts for the rear and 2 for the front?

Anyone have the part #'s?

Yes you'll need the 4 new banjo bolts total.

The thing is if you'll buy the G37 sport Banjo bolts they won't fit your stock lines. I bought some and they don't fit.
