How much should i drop my car ? Don't want it to be too low

I was just wondering how low i should drop my car just to make it look more sporty. Don't want it to be too low .

just get eibach springs it will lower the front 1.2 in and the back .8, it basically gets rid of the fender gap. any lower you will need a camber kit.

Gazan37 Jan 17, 2011 12:06 AM

yeah i have eibachs they're very drivable. Id love to go lower but dont wanna be too impractical

ItBeMims Jan 17, 2011 12:07 AM

any pictures bro ?

ItBeMims Jan 17, 2011 12:10 AM

And around how much is it going to cost? a rough estimate

A_Palaroan Jan 17, 2011 12:17 AM

i dont have pictures with me right now but check around for good prices, Lou at amplified has great prices and it shouldnt cost no more then 150 for install. you can do it yourself for free! id say 350 out the door.

thanks my man and what do you think about a borla exhaust?

A_Palaroan Jan 17, 2011 12:32 AM

to each his own my man. it all depends how loud you want. i herd that the borla and flowmasters sound similar and sound more like american muscle rather then our import vq sound. i say go with invidia. its the best bang for the buck. i plan on getting one soon........ i hope.

ItBeMims Jan 17, 2011 12:40 AM

i'll look it up thanks

ive read on here that if youre replacing your car with lowering springs, you might want to invest in new struts as well. the newer springs put much more stress on the factory struts and decrease its lifespan.

I would read up on eibachs first they get some bad reviews, but it is basically up to you what u want to go with. I had eibachs and i didnt like the drop or how it drove so i switche to h &R's and it is slammed and rides jjust right...but h techs would be better if you just want a small drop. springs should be about 200 and install should be about 150. heres a pic of mine after installing h&r's

did the invidia always fit the awd coupe, or did they take out a new exhaust, because it does not fit the awd sedan

Romulus1 Jan 17, 2011 11:00 PM
