5AT Footbrake to Handbrake Conversion

I thought about putting this in the Modding forum...but this isn't really modding, just imagination. I'm bored in class thinking about really far out ideas...like converting the G37 footbrake on the automatic to a handbrake. Has anyone played with this idea in their head? I know it would take some serious heavy modding by serious professionals, but I've just been tossing it around in my head. Questions arise like, what would the benefits be? Added weight? Less weight? Destroying the interior for a cheap thrill? etc.

Note: This is just a "...what if..." scenario, I personally like my footbrake alot and don't know if I would even want a handbrake so please don't flame.:D

reed i think it would be interesting to have a regular hand brake for a change, like you i love my foot-brake all pedals in one place, so who is rich enough here to do the mod lol, i can donate $1.

honestly it wouldn't be worth it to do, no real gain for lots of $$$ and work. If you want a hand brake go get a 6MT

unless you have a tire sponsorship, no need for a handbrake. and ill still take my paddle shifters over a clutch anyday. :p

It s definitely a far out there idea. +1 for creativity. I personally prefer the footbrake coz it's a cleaner look.
