the price is no where the same either though...

Bilstein’s and Moton's are priced way above the rest also but does that mean they are just over priced versions of BC's and other's that are cheaper? no there is a reason they are priced so high. because they are far better then the rest. you get what you pay for.....

I disagree respectfully...
that is true is some cases

are you trying to say BC's are on the same level as bilstein and moton? i really hope not

TerribleONE453 04-22-2008 10:53 PM

i am not saying they are not decent. or that they are not even goood. honestly for the money i think they are great coilovers no doubt about that at all. i wont argue that point. for what your getting they are hard to beat. but they are not on par with KW. and not even close to bilstein or moton...

No... what I am saying is that there are certain companies that get Certain companies to build there Coilovers... and charge 1800-2200 bucks... if the main company brings there own out then takes out the middle man.... do you doubt there quality... no... thats what I am sayin... sometimes you do get what you pay for... sometimes ya dont...

disclaimer: no where did I say who was which company

no i understand that completely and i know BC produces a few monotube designs for other compaines, again i didnt say bc's are not good. i am still on the fence about picking a set up for the time being until what i want is out. but they dont produce anything for the compaines we are talking about here.

I guess it comes down to the money and patience with these things. If you have the money and can wait it out I guess getting the Tein or KW's would be the best bet. However, for the price and the positive feedback for the BC coils, it doesn't seem half bad. just my 2 cents....

What is the difference between these coilovers? What makes these other ones better than the BC's? Serious question because I really don't know. Are the more adjustable? Are they better for tracking?

sTiLLBaLLiN37 04-22-2008 11:33 PM

^^^ That's what I want to know as well, but from what I heard from people is that KW and Tein are the way to go. Don't know what seperate's this from BC...

The websites speak for themselves. Bilstein and Moton are the considered the two top suspension in the world. Used on all the top race cars and teams around the world. These are not your every day tuner systems. they are pure track bred systems that are made for the true track junkie and racer.
