Looking for photos of a properly installed front fender liner on coupe, I'm lost
Hi I posted this question on Reddit about a week ago and I'm getting desperate to get things right. I'm having a hard time figuring out how the fender liners (fender protectors?) are supposed to be. The shop that did the repairs on my rusted out 2009 G37x 2-door clearly did it wrong as you can see in the first two photos.

Places lined inside and outside carried by side. I havent found a diagram or anything elegant so photos similar to the ones below on correctly installed liners would be really appreciated. These photos are from about a week ago, I already put a few minutes into trying to figure them out but got lost. The car hasn't been used in almost a year, please pardon the dirt. The photo flash really makes the underbody Michigan rust shine too. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...6ba22f77ad.jpg Where bumper cover and fender liner meet on the bottom https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...2affc3747c.jpg Facing interior on front right https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...e614ff26b0.jpg Slightly higher facing forward https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...3b4b891d05.jpg Facing backwards now, still inside front fender https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...0f293fcc7d.jpg Last one |
