LED Turn Signal Lamps (7440) w/Built In Resistors
I'm a retired EE and have done a few LED lamp conversions with my cars, but have never been happy with having to add external resistors for the turn signals. I always felt that was a lashup of a solution, so I was really pleased to find these SiriusLED 7440 lamps on Amazon that have built-in resistors:
I picked up a set of these and installed them today and voila, no more hyper flash. I'll keep this thread updated if I encounter any problems with them down the road, but as of Day 1, everything is looking good!
(FWIW, I put these only in the taillights of my '12 G37 coupe. The front turn signals are still the OEM bulbs)
Edit: These things are BRIGHT even in daylight, and perhaps uncomfortably so at night for cars/drivers behind me.
