Replacing Chrome Trim - HELP!

Hey guys, as you can see the rear door "sash" trim piece as just been ripped off by the wind while I was driving one day.

I have no idea how to replace it once I get the replacement piece in. I've been looking at OEM pieces, but I don't want to spend $160 on the piece.

2 questions:

1) where to find the piece cheaper? junk yard?

2) how to replace it once I get it in, 3m adhesive, etc.

Thanks guys!

definitely junk yard, (try car-part.com and hollander parts .com [they are aggregators for all the junkyards]) but first try Ebay as most junkyards have the pieces up there anyways and they have better pictures and they are more likely to have jsut the pice you want vs. junk yards that may only sell the door or some larger piece.

As for fittament AFAIK its pressure fit...it should fit on with snaps very odd that it came off like that without any kind of impact or prying...you could probably put some adhesive on there too but it could get messy.

heres a new piece with a picture:

here it is for less money:

the part number is: 82284JK000

good luck and post up how you sort it out
