Does the led strip function as a day time running light and turn on automatically with the car without having to turn on the headlights or indicator lights? If not is there a way to have it function as a daytime running light and also function as the turn signal as normal?

The low beams use the OEM HID ballasts. I had Osram CBI bulbs in my stock headlights and swapped them over to he new ones.

The LED strip comes on with the parking lights and will not come on if the headlights are off or on auto (unless the headlights are on while on auto). I'm sure if you wire the LED strip directly to a 12V switched source they will be on whenever the car is, but you'll need a relay to interrupt power to the white LED's when the turn signal is activated so the orange LED's will operate the way they are supposed to.

Arxylis, just wondering if you had to bend in place any of the 4 metal tabs? When I tried to hold them in position for bolting, the plastic guide pieces seem to hold the whole housing back from moving further into place to match oem fit. Looking at it from a far its not bad, and I guess its expected for aftermarket... that being said build quality is very impressive.

For what its worth, here are a few quick and dirty pictures at different angles to better portray the fit.

'08 Journey/ nonsport and tree pollen

Driver side gap, not too noticeable with OB paint

Roughly 1/3 cm gap starting at the 1cm line

Residue remaining from manufacturing - unfortunately did not clear up from the interior.

Amber bulb came installed

Passenger side gap - not as large as driver but still noticeable up close

No lights at ~sunset

Parking light

Side amber has 3 leds

low beam projectors - once ballasts and bulbs are moved over its plug and go. Recommend adjusting beams before bumper reinstall, very hard to fit a ratchet in

Halogen bulb for high/fogs came installed

Sequential turn in action

Thanks for the additional pics and gap measurements blov, nice addition to the review!

And good point about adjusting the beams prior to reinstalling the bumper, good tip!

I'm a minimalist by nature so these aren't up my alley, but I must say the shape of the DRL blends well with the IPL bumper's chrome bezels.

Now PLEASE would someone get ahold of a pair of these and fill out those dead spaces along the bottom with functional LEDs!

I love the look of them. The only issue I have with the headlights is the cutoff. This should be able to be corrected with a little modding of a clear lens, but kind of defeats the purpose. Having to pay for parts and labor for something that should be working 100% is a bit disappointing.

Looks great nonetheless otherwise. =

I am a headlight junkie- I've done several retrofits on previous cars- and I think the output on these is pretty good. Hopefully they come out with something for the sedan. I like the OEM headlights though.

How bright is the high beam bulb that comes with it? I'm getting these lights installed tomorrow, I bought leds for the high beams but they sadly were too big, it seems to only accommodate halogens like the ones it already has. My question is should I purchase some different brand high beam h7s or keep the ones it has. Since I'm getting them installed tomorrow, I figure if I was going to change the bulb, I should do so before they're installed

I had these lights installed today, but it left a small gap on the top point of the light, is anyone else having this issue, the lights don't to fit as well as the OEM lights

Please see my album, what year is your coupe? I'm a little worried about water getting in but I think it'll be fine.

My coupe is a 2013
Also it'll fit better but you really have to shove it in and have someone hold it in while it gets installed, that's how I was able to get the fitment better, before when the technician installed it on their own, there was a gap at the top, right it's almost none existent gap
