More to the mystery. On my way home tonight, the light flickered then came on. It stayed on the whole way home.
The led's definitely aren't burnt out.

Sometimes mine flickers, sometimes it's on for entire drives. Usually it's not on at all though. It doesn't bother me enough to take it apart and fix though.

Mine started flickering when I bought it at 36k miles. Fixed under warranty and hasn't happened in the 3k miles since.

Bought my 2011 with 26k miles on it and never knew the analog clock actually had a light because it never worked since i bought it.

It looks pretty bright when it works.

I really don't care much for the analog clock to try and fix it myself. I use the digital clock or my cell phone.

Mine is out, I thought it was just a bad design to not have a light. I guess it is just a bad bulb. Now I know.

2009, 75k miles, light still works. Not sure if it was replaced by the previous owner but for the last 15 months in my ownership it has not burned out.

Didn't realize this was that common. Mine was just replaced on my '11 with 48K miles under warranty. Dealer actually had one on the shelf so... maybe they go bad more than I would have thought.

Replaced at 35,000 miles on my 2012. My dealership had the clock in stock.

My clock is currently covered up by my phone mount. 63k miles and I think that it's still on?

2012, @37k replaced under warranty. Haven't had a flicker ...currently at 43K.
