Rear window defroster
So I noticed recently that it takes 20+ minutes for my rear window to defrost. I am starting to believe that there could be some electrical failure considering the side mirrors clear up almost instantly and it does not snow where I live.
Has anyone ever had this issue before? It's around 45-48 degrees in the morning and the defroster never had this issue before. (Yes, my rear window is tinted and I doubt the window tint tech damaged anything considering it's been tinted for over 6 years) Thanks! Larry |
I've actually noticed the same thing as well but I just assumed it was because my rear window is also tinted? Look forward to seeing what you find out.

If you have frost @ 48 degrees, you have bigger problems. LOL

Dew point .... a window will cloud up (not real frost) long before you get close to feezing temps.

I got you man. JK. Possibly a fuse (best case scenario).

My 07 clears up its back window in 5 minutes or less. Either the conductive strip on your window is broken, or yes, its a fuse.
