LED v3 Triton Switchbacks + Other LEDs

BIG thanks to PG-v36_6MT for help with the install!
This is with 5K Tritons with otherwise stock bulbs (forgot to put on fogs).
Really like the look, like most say, the photo doesn't really capture the brightness or crispness of these LEDs. They do look a bit yellow relative to the OEM headlights, but I'm fine with that. The amber is substantially brighter than stock turn signal bulbs, which is a big plus, especially when compared to other aftermarket switchbacks.
Hopefully next week I can finally get around to fixing my grille fitment

2010 vs 2011 sedan
I want to do switchback front signals and I have a 2010 G37xs sedan, when I do a bulb search the 2010 (7440 single filament)and 2011 (7444 dual filament) are listed for the front signals. Can anyone advise me on whether or not I need an extra wire to run the switchback LED's?

If you order the switchback from VLEDs website you won't need any extra wire. It'll do it itself. The extra wire is to hook it up to the headlight this way when the headlight turns on it dims the signal lights. That's the only experience I have with the signal lights. I have the V3 switchback.

Ok so a couple of questions to those running the V3 switchbacks. Do the 5k or the 6k match the factory HID set up best. and this thread is a bit old so those who have been running them for an extended period are they still running strong without any issues?

6K probably match a little bit better (5K are a little warmer than OEM low beams).
Also, my passenger-side turn signal stopped working about a month ago (white part still shines bright, but amber is very weak when turn signal is on). Need to get around to ordering a replacement and finding a way to install it

that's kind of disappointing, I just ordered the v6 switchbacks with the resistor kit, But I have a set of jdmastar switchbacks that are over 3 years old, at 160 vs 40 I would hope the vled has the long term reliability I guess fingers crossed on the ones I just ordered....

Agreed.
Since the V3 is discontinued, VLED would not offer me replacement parts to fix the issue, and instead suggested I buy a new V6 set. And no V3 components are compatible, not even load resistor...
But they did offer a $40 credit at least, which I plan to use to buy these: https://www.vleds.com/7443-70-hv-wa-c.html
Good luck with the V6. I'm not taking the risk again, though.
