Memory Seats stopped working

My memory seat buttons (set, 1 ,2 ) at the driver side door have stopped working. They don't even light up anymore. They were working before I had some damage repaired [sideswiped left front corner. I don’t know if the shop disconnected the battery or not.] I can still move my seat using the seat controls at the left side of the seat. I have tried everything I can find in the manual and online. I changed the suggested 10 amp “Room Lamp” fuse to no avail. I even tried hanging a dead chicken from the mirror.

I suspect a lack of power from somewhere. Any suggestions please.

I have the same issue. I am taking it to the dealer this Friday. Btw I have 84k on the car but got the extended warranty.

Seat Memory Buttons

Tried for days to get me seat memory buttons working.
Took car to auto body shop that did the repairs.
Head mechanic took car to back room.
10 minutes later everything woked.
He said he did the same thing I had been doing,

To program the setting:
1. Put car in Park.
2. Put ignition to ON (with key present and foot OFF brake, 2 presses of the ignition button)
3. Adjust seat position as desired.
4. Push SET switch and within 5 sec, hold in the desired memory button for at least 1 sec.

To use the setting:
1. With car in Park ...
2. ... within 45 sec of opening the driver's door, hold in the desired memory button for at least 1 sec.

It now works perfectly.

Thanks, I've been watching youtube videos and their step don't even work. This one did. I even manage to link it to the remote. By hitting the unlock button after holding button 1 for one second.

Wait, you linked your remote to the car seats? How?

Read the manual or download it?

After pressing button 1 or 2 during setup, hit the unlock button on the remote.

And you should see the led on the button flash a few times.

I'll take the heat...
I'm sorry but anyone that buys a 40k auto & doesn't want to embrace ALL the features this car provides is either lazy or not interested in full enjoyment. The manual can be downloaded & stored on your desktop for leisure perusing and/or reference. The search feature of a PDF file is indispensable. I keep a copy on my work desktop. I have read every page.

Okay, I now can't get the freaking memory seat to work.... Tried several times and I can't get it to set.

Read the manual over and over and still doesn't work.

1) Set parking brakes
2) Set ign to ACC
3) Press SET
4) Hold button 1
5) Press unlock on remote
6) Set ing to OFF.

NOTHING.

and what does "raise the seat back" mean?

I usually just spam both the key fob and the memory buttons until they work.

Got it somewhat work. Looks like it's only working when the ign is set to on.

I use to have it work just by unlocking the car. (If someone moves the seat). I press the remote and the seat moves to position.

I searched everywhere and this is as close as it gets. I remember reading somewhere a few months ago that if the memory settings stopped working it could be caused by something else not working and it causing this to stop as well. I used to be able to open the door or unlock the car and everything would move to let me in or out of the car. They don't do anything anymore. What am I missing? Everything still works just fine, just not automatically.

I saw a Youtube video rather than read the manual. LOL. Sorry guys. :D

I have a similar yet different question regarding the seats. The button on top of the seat, by the headrest. On the passenger seat, I can press the button and the seat will move front and back, but when I press the button on the driver seat, it doesn't. Could it be a faulty wiring issue?
