2010 G37S Coupe Fog Lights

Like the title says I have a '10 G37S. It has the fog lights integrated into the head lights. I don't like them. Is there a DIY on adding fog lights to the lower bumper area? I searched but could not find a write up.

I find it very hard to believe you searched at all. I typed "fog lights" into the search bar, and the very first post was a DIY in the sticky section of the DIY section for "2011 Non Sport Fogs on 2008-2010 Sport Bumper "

Fun fact, the sticky thread also appears in the sticky section of the DIY part of this forum.

You could have saved yourself (and me) a lot of typing by just putting "fog light" into the search bar.

Dude I appreciate the help but nobody put a gun to your head. You don't have to answer if it really puts you out. The search funtion does not work well at all. Most of the results I got were for light bulbs. Maybe your pc or Mac is better than mine.

Yes you can add the fogs to the lower bumper if you type in fog light diy in the search area it will come up but the diy shows wiring a new switch to turn them on and off I will just unhook to wires for the fogs in the headlights and run them down to the bumper with the new fogs that way they will work with the your current fog light switch and since the parking light and fog light are in the same area you could put in some led parking light bulbs there that way there brighter and looks as though you still have the fogs in the headlights.

i just dont get it man, this forum gets so mad about asking questions. its like you can post stupid crap for new threads but when you have an actual question instead of answering it ppl respond by saying "u should search". and your answer is still unanswered. is there a better G forum out there? cuz im trying to buy a 2010 and im gettting tired of the attitudes towards simple questions.......THAT YES I DO SEARCH FOR!

Does no one use the factory fogs on the 2010? Whats wrong with them?

They seem to add decent light to the road in front of the car.

Is it just an aesthetics thing?

You could search on google for another G forum I suppose? lol jk

It's not that people get mad about members asking questions, they just get tired of the same questions being answered over and over again. If you take your time with the search I can almost guarantee you'll find the answer you are looking for.

This actually the best thing to do I've found. Google has all the answers.

I wrote the DIY, for me it was asthetics.
Those blanks in the bumper always told me fogs belong in there.

Now that being said, having 2 sets of fogs, upper being 2300K yellow, and lowers being 4300K really lights up the road!!!

I installed the OEM fogs on my 2008 G. I didn't follow the DIY on this site because I didn't want to do it the way the guy did it. I didn't even change out my washer tank. I still have the same one the car came with. I kept on reading that in order to get the fogs to fit I had to change my tank. Well since I have an aftermarket intake system there was a part of the OEM intake system that I no longer needed. So I removed that part and unbolted my washer tank and moved it back a bit and held it in place with industrial zip ties. Put the new fogs in and got a H1 to 9006 converter and then a H11 to 9006 converter and connected the new fogs to the OEM fog connection. I then got a automatic DLR kit and put LED H1 bulbs and wired them up directly to the battery so when I turn the car on it automatically turns on. I was going to do a DIY but I got lazy.

I dont think ill ever understand why they designed in the spot for fogs but then integrated them into the headlights. My only guess is a cost saving measure, but it irks me every time i look at them and dont see them there. Although it doesnt irk me the hundreds of dollars bad that it costs to do the diy so i just deal with it.
