i want to ask how is this done? is this a tint or paint? on the inside of the cover or the outside?
pretty sure the outside is just sprayed with a few light coats, then wet sanded...i'm sure it's a longer process but do some searches, theres a DIY on here. But i dont trust myself lol so i rather trust a pro
^ Correct, we spray the taillights with black and clear, wetsand, compound, and polish. Sometimes they'll come out so mint, wetsanding isn't necessary.
I actually don't mind how "red" they are on my VR, but you guys are right about all the other color cars.
180, the way I have always done them in the past is over-reducing the basecoat then clear. That works great! 1:2 is the ratio I found to be the best. Give it a try sometime and let me know what you think.
I am interested in having this done; however I need to drive the car so 2 days turnaround time is too long. Is there a way to do some type of a trade in + Labor as dyingbreed mentioned?
The are bright red so other drivers see them. Crazy concept, I know. I'll never understand why people are trying to help other drivers crash into them.

We actually do have a core exchange program available, but the taillights are usually out to another state and there is a long waiting list. Send us a PM or email us to see the current wait time.

Yea I guess everybody is rear ending all the IS300 and Range Rover sports with the clear tails
I'm not a fan of completely blacking out taillights, a little bit of smoke doesn't hurt anyone and can be CLEARLY seen
