This is another one of subjects that have been discussed here many times. Some like the cleaner look, but others, like me, feel it makes the car appear “erased”, as if you’re ashamed of the brand. And there’s also the school of thought that debadging lowers the car’s resale value because it’s mostly done by younger owners that drive their cars more aggressively.
At any rate, if you do decide to debadge, save them, as you may need them again someday.
+1 Makes the back of the car look plain to me with no lettering or the Fuji symbol, but if you leave the symbol or the G37 badging it still looks nice. I can see why people remove it though becasue its a PITA to wash and wax around the lettering.
So last night after maybe too much inebriation I dug out the fishing line, WD40 and polish and wax, after 30 minutes my a** end was debadged sans MT Fugi. This morning straight and sober it still looks great, whew!
I'm completely debadged and I hope someone thinks I have an Altima as they will be in for a rude awakening. Personally I like the look, but in the future I';m likely to paint the Fuji emblem gloss black and center it.
I've left the Mt Fuji symbol but took off the rest on my sedans trunk. I can't say I really care if people think my car is something different than what it is. I've debadged everything but the brand logo on every car I've owned except my first. Always a cleaner look imo
here's mine the one in the bottom was on the car but replace it with the new one cuz I didnt like the rust on it but I do prefer the one with the infiniti logo on IMO
