Just a few FYI's before you do your Map + Interior Lights

Ordered from V-Leds; they were at my doorstep in ONE DAY! Yikes...!
Anyways, I ended up using the smallest flathead I could find to pry the plastic covers off the map light + rear head lights. I did okay with the rears...very little to no damage from prying. The front map lights however...UGH. That trim piece that goes around the unit, I indented rather badly. I'm debating ordering a new piece. For anyone else: the PN is 26428-JK00A. It's 12.43...cheap, but it comes with a $10 shipping cost (wtf). Dealership wants $27.36 + tax. Saving 5 bucks :dunno:. Despite, USE a flat card. I used my parking pass for the second map light on my passenger side, and the plastic cover came out with little to no effort. No damage. Stupidity :banghead:...and yet I tried so hard to do everything on my OLD car so I wouldn't make the same mistakes. Forgot that I'd never done LED swaps before. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead: I deserve about 100 more.

:hello:

I used a steak knife wrapped w/ thin MF towel. Worked perfectly for me!

I have a plastic wedge tool that came with my many Pro-clips USA device holders I have bought over the years. It's made to separate plastic car parts ...works great!
