2009 G37 Coupe Headlight/Fog light question

Sorry if this has been asked before but I've been searching and couldn't find a DIRECT answer to my question....

I want to make all my front lights exact same color as my headlight. I was wondering what kind of color are they? I've read on the 2010's the are 4300k? I am a noob at bulbs so I'm not even quite sure if 4300k is a color. So what kind of bulbs should I get if I wanted my fog lights and clearance light to match my current stock headlight? Also, any suggestions on sites that sell these bulbs for cheap and good quality? I don't want the ones that burn out quick but some legit working ones.

Thanks in advance forum! :)

4300K is stock color temperature (35W Ballast of course)

If you are staying stock, its 4300K color temp. Get a HID fog kit that is 4300K or you can upgrade to something like 6000K (the most popular color temp). If you are going to replace both (headlights and fogs), I would get them from the same place, as different companies may have a slightly different color temp bulb.

And just BTW coupes use a 55W ballast and sedans use a 35W ballast

So explaining color temps for the bulbs...the higher the number the closer to purple it is (3000K = yellow, 6000K = white, 8000K = blue, 12000K = purple) but with that the less ability to light they put out (lumens). So 3000K provides more lighting ability than 12000K even though 12000K might appear brighter when you look at it.

Hottest Automobile Custom LED Interior, LED Exterior and HID Conversion Kit Products, Accessories from iJDMTOY

those are where I've gotten different lights for different stuff...the lights and fogs I'm running right now are from DDM and the parking lights are from IJDMToy, they all look great and are high quality

Stay away from iJDMTOY. I'd stay away from 6000k as well. Too many 6000k bulbs have blue (aka ricer) tint. IMHO 5000k is the way to go.

Hey guys. So I am thinking of getting this one

DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast (35W or 55W): HID Kits, DEPO Lights, BMW Bumpers & Lighting - DDM Tuning

The H1, 55w with 4500k. I am not sure if this is the correct kit as they have several different kinds on that website. Also, is this just for my fog lights? There is another light called the clearance light that I want to change to HID's as well to match the stock color headlights. Does this come with it? or do I need to go buy another kit for that?

Yes, that one will work just fine!! I got the Apexcone Raptor HID Kit (the only other kit in that section) but either will work. If you have a coupe, get a 55W, if you have a sedan get a 35W.

This kit will be for your FOGS. It will come with all the necessary components to change your fog lights and nothing more.

Thank you all! Also my brother referred me to this site:

Infiniti Products & Services | LightWerkz.net

It's $150 difference!!! Whats with the big difference in price? Does lightwerkz provide that much of a quality difference? Or just way overpriced?
