Apexcone 5000K HID's

I finally got around to installing my Apexcone 5000K HID's the other night. I ordered them from ddmtuning.com for $35 +shipping. The quality of the bulb looks to be really good and it comes with a 1 year warranty. The install went really easily, especially since I got a floor jack and jack stands. My friend helped me do the install and if we didn't stop to eat dinner it probably would have only taken an hour tops. Overall I am really pleased with these bulbs. The color is pretty much exactly what I wanted. I've seen several pics of peoples 6000K's and they look good, it's just they were too blue for my taste. These look alot better IMO. During the day they are just a PURE white and you can defiantly tell a difference from stock. At night is where you can really see the difference. On the ground the are a nice Arctic white with a very slight hint of blue. Looking at them they are whiter than stock with a hint of blue instead of yellow. As far as visibility goes, they are great. Probably the exact same as the OEM bulbs, there is no noticeable loss of light output. Overall I am really pleased in the look and quality of the bulbs, and you cant beat the price.

Time for some pics

A few pics of the install process:

Once you get it jacked up and the wheels off its just a matter of taking a few clips of the fender lining and folding it back to reveal the casings.

looks much like the 6oook only with a hint of blue instead of purple. Thanks for posting because I've been wanting to see what this would look like.
