Not to distract from the beautiful engine bays but where does the other end of the hose on the overflow tank go to (not the one by the radiator cap)?

the hose goes straight down to the outside incase it overflows and can go somewhere

Trying to improve my engine bay to keep up with you all. My engine bay is still dirty, need to do a real detail one of these days.

Hydrodipped parts:

- Engine cover: true carbon, body-color (RAW, or lapis blue) center section, "V6 VVEL" and Infiniti logo masked.

- Radiator cover: true carbon.

- Battery and brake fluid covers: true carbon.

All clear-coated parts protected with Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0.

More stuff:

- Zeetoyz coolant, windshield fluid and dipstick polished covers. I have the Zeetoyz power steering fluid cover but haven't got a chance to drive to the dealer to get a spare plastic cap (for cutting) yet.

- Dress Up Bolts titanium burned engine cover bolts. (Undecided about what I'll do with the other bolts in the engine bay, but they have to be replaced at some point.)

In case anyone else here is liking these P2M hose clamps... I received an email from them this morning:

Hi John

Our 1.65” radiator hose clamps will be arriving from production shipment sometime this coming week.

Please stay tuned on our website for them.

Best Regards

Messed around a little today. I have some OG Top Secret Gold paint left over from way back when. Decided to lay some down on my engine cover before installing the Too Secret plate. Also painted the IPL section black because I wasn't feeling the chrome. It's a work in progress still for sure but I'd love people's feedback. Thanks!

Someone on this forum was selling only the Cusco bar, without the brackets, so I bought that and am waiting to get it. I have some ideas of what to do with it, so I might be posting an update. If it doesn't work out, then I'll just go back to my original bar as posted in the following pics.

Wow!! Excellent detail job

Yikes! That's a whole lot of detail. I particularly like the red-2-black fade on your FSTB. That's really impressive. And that ARC catch-can is quite the big dollar commitment. Love the braided lines there. I honestly think 2 turtles is one turtle too many, and you've gone turtle crazy here. I bet you've at least 3 of them in your interior, LOL. But I have to say, that you Tommy turtled your washer fluid cap is pretty damn cool. I really respect all the work here, aarr_ttyy.

So to follow up on what looks like a couple thousand dollars worth doll-up pieces, and hundreds of hours of obsessive planning... here's a thread you might like for a $10 piece of custom plastic:

Looking at your engine bay, clearly I'm not the first person to think of using a single piece of trim-seal back there.
