25%..you'll have a nice blackout look but it's not TOO black

I love my 35%. No regrets whatsoever.

I used to love Limo all around. In AZ, they now have the Lumens meter, or whatever they are called and the cops around here are in love with them. I finally just got legal tint after the 5th time I was pulled over in a 2 month period.

i've used 20% on the last 3 cars and love it. Here in KS i've never got hassled about my tint(knock on wood). 35% still looks good and legal and if you're looking to say legal it's really your only option. If all else go 35 up front and everything else 20, that's legal here, not sure about other places.

15% all around and love it. It is illegal but I never get pulled over for it. And you can still see though it at night. However, we have 25% on our explorer and it is decent. Keeps the sun out but you can still see in it, just dark enough to keep people from easily being able to see inside.

what is the legal limit where you live?

35 in MA. I did 28 all around. At night looks perfect. Daytime with the sun on it seems a bit light.

I have 5% all around on mine and love it. It would suck at night backing up without the rearview but other than that it is great.....

It's well under the legal limit but FL cops don't usually hassle you too much unless you're down past the AS1 line on the front window.....

I'm at one shade before limo all around... Not sure what it is (maybe 15% :dunno:) but iI like it... Can see fine at night...

TomG37 02-05-2009 12:06 PM

15% is good if you still want to see out the windows a little :)

Stand up and become a good citizen. Don’t go illegal. In the final analysis it’s not a matter of getting pulled over or not, or even how “cool” your car looks with illegal tint. Rather, it’s a matter of safety, for you and innocent others that may suffer the consequences of a bad accident stemming from your inability to see what needs to be seen.

I'm going to guess you have no tint on your car?

vinnys coupe 02-05-2009 12:15 PM

ive got 4 percents (markes on the meter :p) i love the look, the sides are dark but me having the winshield done 35 doesnt help out at all ither. I like dark tint, if its not under 20% i wont have tint at all.

Ide go 20 or 5. Nothing higher then 20!

and if you dont have reverse camera good luck!
