Driver's door handle key cover
Has anyone seen an identical driver's side door key cover used on the passenger side? Factory matched paint?

edit: they are universal for front door, rear door, passenger or drivers side. |
Thanks that's the exact part I was looking for.

any of you know if this is easy to install? i've heard that it doesn't "click" hence, not a perfect fit... want to share your experiences?
|
not correct. it slides forward and clicks in to where it meets the handle.

.
Mine didn't "click" when i went to put it on. On the inside of the cover you can see some rubbing on these little plastic tabs that stick out like 2mm. I just used my dremel and sanded it down little by little till it fit just right with the "click" . |

there are two ways to put it on. you can remove the lock mechanism through the plug in the door above the catch mechanism, or use a pick tool to remove the original by pulling the door handle open. i did the latter.
