H.I.D's Bulb???
 

The color on the stock bulb are kinda yellow. Thinking about switching to 12,000k bulbs. Does anyone know if I can just bu a set of bulbs and do the switch or do I need to change the ballast also? Any comment would help.

You would need just the bulbs. 12K seems a little high to me though. You will have no visibility at night if it's raining.

What bulbs would you recomend?

i wouldn't go any higher than 8000k...i'm replacing mines with 6000k...got a pair for $60 shipped...let me kno if u want info on the bulbs

will have 6000k bulbs installed soon (this wkend) with pix if u wanna see how they look compared to stock

What have people been using to replace the fog bulbs to match the stock HID's

Can you share info on where to buy 6K bulds from and how hard was it to install?

they're replacement bulbs...just like if ur bulbs went out, u pop it out and put a new one in

Where did you guys order your bulbs from? id go with 8k or 10k

forget rain. At 12k you wont see anything at all at any point. 6k like most have said is the highest k anyone really should run. once you go past this all you are doing is loosing road light. If all you care about is people looking at your car while driving and saying WTF why are those lights so ****ing blue/purple then go ahead keep going higher on the kelvin. If you want to see where your going and see things in the road go with 5600k

are teh stock bulbs 4300k??? or are they 5000k???? bought 5000k replacements and fog light HID kit...last G35 coupe i had 30,000k headlights and foglights...looked great, but visibility it wasnt the greatst, but not as bad as everyone thinks... already have the bulbs for the G37,im waiting on mine to arrive shortly...lol..
