Detailer's Domain: 335i coupe - fixing other detailer's mistakes

2010 BMW 335 I Coupe

This car came to us with swirls and huge haze marks. The customer called me upset about what a local detailer recently did to his new car. What the detailer did was rip thru the car in 3 hours with a compound and glaze. i believe this was not necessary at all especially on a new car. Damage done. The car was fixed with M105 - SIP - PO85RD
Last Step = Swissvax Blau Weiss

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Swissvax Blau Weiss
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned

Nice work. Thanks for sharing. The claybar looked pretty freaking bad for a car that's less than a year old.

That Sonax wheel cleaner, what do you think of it? I'm not as impressed with the P21S wheel cleaner as everyone else is.

Nice job. And I agree with the above post, I cant believe that came off a 1 year old car. And thats pretty rough to need to use M105 on a brand new car! I feel bad for the owner.
