Help Replacing RCA port
Hi,
I have a 2009 G37s and recently broke one of the auxiliary plugs inside the center console RCA receptacle, I tried removing it and completely ruined it. I ordered a replacement online and now I need some help/tips on how to replace it without breaking anything else. I've been searching online and have not been very successful finding specific instructions. I would also appreciate if you know of a link that is already out there I can follow. Update... Hey guys, thanks for everyone that responded. I ended taking this project and it was a lot easier than anticipated, four total screws and the whole thing came off. Everything is back in place and working perfectly fine. |

You will also need the interior section of the FSM for reference when removing the center console:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Sedan/2009/INT.pdf Remove the center console, unclip wiring harness, remove 2 screws and the AUX assembly pops right out. The whole job should take less than one (1) hour. If you are lucky, you might be able to tilt the rear of the console enough to reach your hands/tools underneath to access the AUX assembly. |
Can you post a link of the replacement RCA device you bought? Maybe you can give a little tutorial on how you swapped it? Thanks!
