2012 g37 radio in 2008

I was wondering if anyone knows if I could plug n play a radio from a 2012 g coupe into a 2008? I’ve got an 08 base model with no navi and looking to upgrade to a newer non nav unit if it’s got the usb capability. Thanks

Short answer: No.
Any swap to a newer (2010+) system will require some wiring modifications.
Can it be done? Absolutely. I installed a 2014 into my 2008 Coupe and even added headrest speakers from a 2010 'vert. But no part of it will ever be plug-and-play
