Could I unhook my aftermarket subs?
Hello,
A very newbie question here. I have an aftermarket sub installed in my trunk. I'm thinking of taking it off for a few weeks. Could I just simply unhook and leave the cables exposed in my trunk? I am worried since the cables that hook on the subs will have those metal ends exposed.

don't do this. Speaker wires carry voltage and current just like power wires do. Any exposed wire should be terminated or taped to avoid a short.
