I would but I use Straight Talk and you cant tether with them, I have an Ipad with ATT but would have to make sure is in the car every time I leave.

- Tether the phone if it allows;

Essentially. When you tether this unit to your phone, your phone is broadcasting a personal wi-fi network that then connects the unit to the internet via your phone service. Can't speak specifically for the Vline but that's how every other device would tether to a phone.

there are other options to share a phone's internet connection like bluetooth and USB, but wifi does offer the most bandwidth. I'd probably look into how much verizon charges to put a 4g dongle on my data plan to spare me the pairing dance every time i get into the car. Also, wifi teathering burns battery like mad and running it nonstop with the phone plugged into a fast charger is a recipe for overheating

Is it possible to listen to FM Radio while navigating using Grom VLine?

No, you will have to be in VLine mode to have a navigation on VLine. What you can do is to listen to the WebRadio, where you can find the station that you like (local stations are also available).

This looks pretty awesome and I'm definitely considering this.

I have some questions though:

- Can I install my own APKs onto this device? I am an app developer and this is important to me.

- Can I use the real Spotify app instead of the modified one? I much prefer the style of the real app

- Can I use apps that require root access?

- Yes you can install your own APKs to VLine;
- Yes you can use real Spotify app;
- At this time you cannot access the root, it is not open. If you are a developer you can send us the request at https://gromaudio.com/support.html and ask. It might void the warranty though.

Can you maybe make a video showcasing some real applications? Maybe a video showcasing the real Youtube App, Real Spotify App, Real Google Maps App, etc?
I know that the custom apps are designed to work better on this system, but I would really like to see how it natively handles apps as well.
