HELP! Installing Bluetooth adapter and lost dash?

2012 G37 Sedan----I was putting in a GROM bluetooth audio adapter in my non navi g37 sedan. Got everything in properly and paired grom device to my phone and lost my radio. Screen would come on but would not change from "Audio off" I also lost my entire dash except for lights. The push button start works sporadically after you push it 10-15 times it may change from Acc to On. When I got the engine running after a lot of pushes the tach/speedo don't work whatsoever when I rev the engine. There is no connections that are remotely close to the dash when you pull out the headunit so I am completely baffled. I checked all the fuses I could find under the hood and under the kickpanel and nothing seems to be blown. I also unplugged the Grom Harness altogether and went completely back to stock with no luck.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, completely stuck as it is right now.

Thanks!

Sounds like there might be a problem with the Unified Meter AC Amp, little white box that sits above the radio. Most of the symptoms you describe can be tied to that unit. Try double checking all the wire harnesses and make sure the connectors are in the right place.

Good luck wish I could be of more help.

All i see are two white boxes with blue tops but they weren't touched and the connections are all secure

The Unified Meter AC Amp is a small, white rectangular box that should be sitting on top of the radio/cd/av controller. The problems you describe are all tied to this box. If you removed the radio chances are you disconnected the amp as well.

There is one connector that goes to the radio that is IDENTICAL to one that goes to the amp. Perhaps the two may have been mixed up in the process. Double and triple check everything- grab the FSM, section AV, and check the wire harnesses to ensure everybody is where they ought to be. Wouldn't hurt to double check all the fuses as well (under dash, IPDM)

If all checks out 100% and still nothing, then either the amp is fried or something else is wonky.

Hope some of this helps.
