I have all of these issues, plus odd podcast problems, on an iPhone 5. Doing the "Reset Network Settings" fixed the problem, but we'll see if it lasts. My phone contract is up in March, and this issue is making me consider an Android phone instead of an upgrade to the latest iPhone.

I have a 2013 Non Nav G37x Sedan I was considering the switch to the Iphone 6 I see a message with my year car that sounds like it is working can anyone confirm?

Just got the 2014 Q60 (which is the same as the G37 coupe) without the navigation. I also had problems using my music streaming app via the USB input. My wife and I both have iPhones and she also tried to stream from her phone with a different app and got the "no songs found" message. She was able to get hers to work because it recognized her iTunes songs and those played. Then once the car was able to play those songs, she was able to open the 3rd party music app and the car linked to it properly and the songs played without further issue. We tested this system again with my iPhone. We could only get the 3rd party apps to function after syncing/linking the phone first with the iTunes app. Hope this helps someone else!

bought a used iPhone 5 to leave it the center console for music ... i will NOT be updating IOS as everything works fine on whatever version of 7 is on it ...
