10" Sub/Mono Amp Help

I ordered the following;

Alpine MRX-M55 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 550 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

350x1 rms @ 4 ohm load

Infinity 100.9w Kappa Series 10" subwoofer with selectable 2- or 4-ohm impedance at Crutchfield.com

350 rms 4 ohm load switch

Custom Sub Enclosure | Affordable Sub Box

Single 10" centered

I know a route for the power wire from the battery to the amp in the trunk and also where to ground it. I also understand you can run the remote turn on wire to the bose amp #3 on the b43 connector.

My confusion is how to connect the RCA cables from the Amp and splice to the factory bose amp?

Do I connect to #8 and #9 on the b43 connector? or 23, 24, 25, 26 on the b41 connector for this Apline amp?

Also do I need a adjustable line out converter?

Thanks!

you dont need a line out put converter with this amp.

Use something similar to this to tap into the factory wires.

The amp has speaker level inputs.

Tap into your factory amp and run the wires into the amp.

So you just take RCA's , connect one end to the Apline amp input and than cut off the ends of the otherside of the RCA's than splice the negative and positive to either B41 or B43?

What size taps are needed to tap into the stock amp?

yes your are correct 08G37SBlue, just splice one end of the RCAs and wiretap into #23&24 or #25&26, look at my picture on my thread because the exact wires you have to tap into are shown in one of my pictures.

As far as wiretaps, I believe its an 18-22 gauge wiretap. That was my problem at first, I didn't use a small enough one and the connection wasn't good so i had to run out and get those smaller ones. Hope this helps
