It didn't seem to have any effect on my XM subscription. It greatly improved the POI's and I hope it did better for house addresses. Too soon to tell on that. So far so good.

I had to call Navteq because they forgot to send me the code and I had to reschedule the appointment at the dealership, and how come a lot of the the guys at the dealership didn't know that some of the infiniti had to get the update from them and not the CD??
call the only 2 location here and they kept saying you will get a CD when it said need appointment from the dealer to get the update lol

Definitely not impress with the stealership
I went for my map update and was told it take almost 3-4 h by one of the manager, I replied that I was told it take less 45 min by the dealer, he then explained to me that we have to make sure that the car wont die in the process and they have to do a lot of steps, at that time I was getting furious. They had the tech guy come in and said it was a complex process and have to make sure that everything work and it take 3-4h.
They gave me a loaner, when I left the stealership at 8 the car was already in their garage I called an other dealership 2 h away from where I live the service tech said it take 45 min, it cost around $45 and 45 min of labor cost, he explain to me that theres no way it would take 3-4 h and that they are lying to me. After 2 h they called me to notify me that the code has expired and they cant do it, apparently the code only last 5 day, why Navteq???
Will call Navteq again and get a new code.
The other dealer called me and said they can do it on Tuesday morning and it only take 45 min sometime 30 and no way it take 3-4 h, he never had an update that take more then 45 min.
WTF, is it written "here come the BANK on top of my forehead" lol.

I just came back from the dealer ship got the map update in 47 min (2013-2014 version) and the cost was $62.00 CAN plus tax $70.06 (US 65.34). Compare to the other stealership (417 Nissan) that was telling me that the map update would take almost 3-4 h and not to believe what the other people (talking about the member of the g37 forum) ****ing bastard.
But what brought a smile to my face is how the service man was driving the car, he felt so comfortable driving it with the window down lmao, priceless moment.

It doesnt look like this update included the firmware update from 2012. I thought the most current firmware is X1UA2001. Do I have to buy both to get the firmware and maps update?
