why not put the oem screen inside the glove box and just open it when you need to access anything.

should mention using a different UVC capture device, that Febon is too expensive!

Hey Oxygen955, did you have any luck with the other UVC capture device? I'm curious as to which one you used, if it worked, and what the quality is like? Thanks!

I'm sure this way is faster via USB or you could do it from your car via wifi on your home network with a file manager app. I guess it probably takes you no time now to remove the nexus since you're used to it.

True that. I actually removed it so i could readjust the restraints. 8 months of poking it may shift it a few millimeters.

Same here, RCAs and 12v. Non Nav 2010. Wierd that they make so many different options.

Paratrooper, did you think of maybe running a USB extension to your glovebox or armrest console in order to making updating your nexus 7 songs and everything else much easier?
I think that'll be alot easier than removing it every time. I know you have to connect the USB to your setup to get it working properly but cant you run the extension to your glovebox and from there, another extension to your USB RCA hookup. So that way you can just unplug it in the glovebox or arm rest then update it and reconnect when done?

Just a thought...

Yes, I have an extender on it right now, to reach to my console 12v source. I just had it removed for adjustments. Ive def sat in my car, in my garage drinking beer with a laptop in my passenger seat-though the wife doesnt like the attention i give her.

Damn women and always wanting attention, you'd think the D is enough...
