Music Box and Compact Flash missing - Disk drive wont work
What's up guys? Long time no post for me. I've got a strange situation. I was going through my auxiliary inputs today and noticed my Music Box and compact flash options are completely missing. The only thing I am getting is AUX and iPod inputs. I press the AUX button and it only switches back between those two. Everything else is no where to be found. My FM/XM radio functions are still working fine but for auxiliary inputs iPod and AUX are the only thing I am getting. Anyone ever ran into this before? I'm afraid to go to the dealer and have a feeling my warranty is gone by now.

To all:
I have exactly the same problems as Wakeboard (and yes, I've searched the forum, which is how I found his post).
Anybody got any ideas or tips? I would love to be able to play CD's and MP3's. At this point I can only listen to the radio.
Thanks,
Matt

Before you do anything like that, bring it to the dealer, maybe an easy software fix, might be something major, but bring it in first...I would think...maybe not...I dunno that's what I would do so I know for certain what I'm working with...hope it doesn't happen to me, sorry to hear it happened to you two

Its not so much major surgery than it is expense replacing the components. I've had some experience with previous CD head units that will not take a CD into the drive mechanism but it sounds like yours has a little more going on than a dirty or failing loading motor. Id vote for a triage from the dealer. Good luck with this one

hi guys my CD player and music box work, i am also able ot copy music into music box from CDs. But who uses CDs in this age? i tried copying form a usb into music box, didnt even have that option. i have a samsung galaxy s4 which the USB doesnt recognize (like ipod) so for now im just shoving all my music into a usb drive.
some people on the forum were suggesting to root the S4 and change some usb settings i tried that but no avail.
now im thinking the last option is to remove satelite radio (as i dont use or like it) and use its aux spot for an input cable. yes its an extra cable, yes its messy but i need to get my phone to work with my car. I am not into downloadinh music any more i stream all the time.
ANY SUGGESTIONS???????????
