Nice.
How long did it take you to do the install? Also, one of the pics shows you using a laptop, what was the purpose? Where you able to tap into head unit and configure? |

Where you able to tap into head unit and configure? the install was about a few days of work, we were just waiting on the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3 DSP The laptop was to configure the EQ on the 3sixty.3 which is a digital sound processor.. |
I like it! So you managed to get the front tweeters to fit into the OEM brackets? I couldn't tell from the pictures.
I see you were conservative with the sound deadener on the doors... approved. |

Very nice! Bravo!
How does the Polk Audio MM1040 DVC sound since you have it installed without an enclosure?? What exactly did you modify to get the component speaker installed? Wouldn't an adapter like the ones from zenclosure have worked? |
Nice install. Thanks for sharing.

The mm1040dvc sounds great, i have it hitting in reverse so it makes it sound better.. to get the components in the door i actually used the speaker bracket that came with the polk components.. i didn't have to cut or modify anything in the doors to make them fit.. just basically use the polk speaker adapter and screw it on top of the original infiniti door speaker adapter plate they have already installed... |

Maybe this thread will become a sticky? |
Hey man, audio install came out awesome. Im in the process of doing mine, i have a 2012 g37, basically same car.
Ive been going back and forth between replacing the factory rear deck subwoofer and putting an amp on it, VS fiberglass enclosures for the trunk. I like the subwoofer in the rear deck better. Are you happy with the sound of it? Is that subwoofer a free-air subwoofer? What did you mean you have it hitting in reverse? I appreciate the insight. |
Just wondering why did you go with a 8awg wiring kit? Why not 4awg?
