Andriod ICS (ice-cream sandwich) New Issue with USB Mount

ATT:
Android ICS (ice-cream sandwich) has a new interface to Mount the phone as a Drive which creates a delay from the time it takes to plug it into the USB to Click to mount the Phone as a drive. There is not enough time to get it going before the car fails to mount it.

Even the old solution to Click debug on and off doesn't work because it still has to go through that Mount as Drive Prompt.

I have tried to use apps that require the phone to be Routed that will force the Use as a Drive to ON but have only had that successfully work once in conjunction with the debug on/off trick.

Anyone have better luck or the same issue?

I don't have ICS yet on my Samsung Galaxy SII but have the same problem you have. Never have been able to get it to work and the dealer has been less than helpful.
