JDM V36 G35/G37 cars had two options: cameras in the mirrors (that would give you splitted view) and front-mounted camera. switching between these three cameras would give you 100% front view of any obstacles.

For now, it is only a beginning of this project - I mounted my camera in the Infiniti logo, but not very happy of it.

I plan to put the camera under the license bracket (like on pic) so I would see my lip more clearly. If it will be not enough, I plan to install two cameras into the bumper where usually manufacturers place fog lights (and then make split-screen from them).

Hmm, no pics had been made as I just gave my electrician DIY and left to Egypt for a week

He told me after he did that DIY he mounted the camera in the Infinti logo and put a video cable from the nose of the car to the innerside of the armrest and made a button to switch between the front camera and AUX video-in.

I was planning on using EX35 oem camera with the logo, but turned out their logo is way bigger than ours..
I'll look for a tiny camera that fits in under the fuji mountain and see what i can do. it will help me determine exact space at parking and in very tight turns like the ones in drive thru- cause the topsecret lip is freaking me out lol

Ima get this camera, cause its CCD and offers 180 degree view
CCD SMALL EMBEDDED WIDE ANGLE REAR VIEW BACKUP CAMERA | eBay
and mount it just like the Ex
put a switch in the seat heater switch place (my car doesnt have them) to cut it off the aux port as ima get it connected from the inside so i can use my aux with no problems
Ill update later- but it will probs take some time

the problem is that mt. fuji is not the best spot to put the camera, you cannot see your lip...

i plan to move it under the license bracket (like OEM JDM front camera) and make it angled.
or even to put two cameras in both sides of the bumper with the splitted view of them (also like JDM option)

^^^ I can, because I have topsecret bodykit and the bumper really sits way infront of the car lol
It depends on what do you really want to see.. for me i want to see the bumper, so i can avoid scratching it, Idk about your license plate but I think it will give you a tunnel view?

ok, I think, I finished the project! I decided to use one camera, just moved it from the infiniti lable to the bottom mesh. and it gives me what I want - the view in front of the lip, so I wouldn't scratch it!
