Siri button

Hello, I saw a post about this the other day so i decided to try and install some type of button to access Siri without using the home button.

I've got a button working that will start Siri but will not allow Siri to talk to you over bluetooth but if you press the button and say "call home" it will do so and treat it like a regular phone call via bluetooth.

Im going to see if i can work on something else to see if i can make Siri be able to talk over bluetooth with this new button and keep you guys updated but if you have any ideas let me know!

Here are some pictures i have more if people want to know more and maybe a DIY?!

I figured out a way to do it, but you would have to bypass the Ebrake. to talk to SIRI you would have to press the added button and be in the "AUX" imput to be able to hear SIRI. For this the car would have to be equipped with the RCA imputs in the center console.

Also i have thought about tapping into the NAV/Bluetooth speaker on the dash to send the "Added button" signal to play SIRI over a speaker (Same concept as the iphone headphones)

And this is another idea i have had, with the Ebrake bypass it might be possible to have your iphone display its screen on the factory INFINITI headunit which could be pretty cool, you would be able to actually hear SIRI and see the information she pulls up for you.

Not sure if its worth all the work when you can just press the home button on your iphone? But it would be nice to be able to leave your phone in the center console.
