New JL's :)

Just got my new 10" JL's installed today!
They bump perfectly! Not too too crazy, has nice tight bass. Compliments the stock bose system exceptionally! I Highly recommend JL's!

Nice, what kind of box is that? Custom? Ported or sealed?

Is the installation in a Coupe or Sedan? Looks nice though. Anything to compliment the Bose setup would be sweet.

Thanx guys! :) They had to customize it because its for a coupe.. And the coupe trunks are extremely small! lol. But all in all a job well done..

I've used Dynamat in a few of my vehicles in the past, it works wonders! I would take out all the interior in the trunk and dynamat the whole bottom, underneath the spare tire. Then pop the plastic panels off the top trunk and get that too. Night and day difference.

Stapless Thanks for your advicee! :) seriously, I havent heard anything from anyone w/ a G, whose used Dynamat. Really appreciate it bro. I'm going to the store this weekend to pick me up some Dynamat! :D

I have just used Dynamat on my parcel shelf to silence a rattle. Did a great job. Getting it off (if you wanted to) would be really hard!

It's not too bad... If you lay/cut it correctly it comes off with ease. Plus, it will be under the plastic panels anyway.

I don't understand the logic behind pointing the speakers away from the listening area. For a small array (less than 6 speakers) they should always fire forward to get the *most accurate* sound. The reason the speakers have a cone shape is to focus the sound into a point forward of the speakers. If all you want is thump, then that's fine, but if you want SQL then turn them around and enjoy ;-)

Sub-Bass is non-directional and firing to the rear adds a loading effect.
