New JL's :)
Just got my new 10" JL's installed today!
They bump perfectly! Not too too crazy, has nice tight bass. Compliments the stock bose system exceptionally! I Highly recommend JL's! |

Nice, what kind of box is that? Custom? Ported or sealed?

Stapless Thanks for your advicee! :) seriously, I havent heard anything from anyone w/ a G, whose used Dynamat. Really appreciate it bro. I'm going to the store this weekend to pick me up some Dynamat! :D

I have just used Dynamat on my parcel shelf to silence a rattle. Did a great job. Getting it off (if you wanted to) would be really hard!

I don't understand the logic behind pointing the speakers away from the listening area. For a small array (less than 6 speakers) they should always fire forward to get the *most accurate* sound. The reason the speakers have a cone shape is to focus the sound into a point forward of the speakers. If all you want is thump, then that's fine, but if you want SQL then turn them around and enjoy ;-)

Sub-Bass is non-directional and firing to the rear adds a loading effect.
