Window help---and NO the reset method doesn't work!!

I have a serious issue on my hand. My Windows work and then don't work. If I put them down, I almost know it will not go back up at all. Sometimes they freeze half way. I just have to wait until they decide to work again and then they do only for a brief moment...10-20 seconds. I did the reset and no cigar. Even the auto adjust windows are not adjusting at all....Could it be I need a new window motor for both windows???

There were a lot of problems with the window motors for the G35 initially but I've not heard of anything like this for the G37 yet.. Are the windows dying to a stop on the way up or just stopping? Do you hear or notice them rubbing against anything? Do they still roll down slightly when opening the door? You should take your car in to the dealer regardless so you aren't stuck with your windows down at the wrong time.

^ Agree with Diamond Boy. Get it to a dealer man.

Or try A,B,A,C,A,B,B :dunno:

I literally took a stop watch and timed my self exactly 15 seconds. I think your timing is off.

i have a problem where the driver side window will roll up when i use the AUTO, but doesnt stay up. It immediately comes right back down about 50%. I tired the resets, took it to dealer, he tried to re-time the window as well using various methods... NO LUCK.

Solution: Dealer ordering me a new window motor
Reason: Driver side window will not re-time

Just thought i'd pass that along

My driver's window motor also began to work intermittently. It was the first repair that I had under the warranty.
