Hardwiring V1

i've looked through some threads about how people have hard wired their V1's/other radars.. how hard would this be to do for someone who has no experience with wiring/internal electronics?

If you use the invisicord or the stealthcord, it is extremely easy. Just plug and play.

so just need to mount the v1 to the windshield and plug it in to the rear view mirror? i havent checked but i guess theres just a little outlet already in the mirror?

i'm just worried about taking things apart to get to the wiring.. none necessary with stealth chords?

In the back of the mirror their is a wiring harness that powers the compass and the autodim. With the invisicord or stealthcord there are two wires. One wire (black) goes into the space next to the black wire (ground) and the second wire (yellow or red) goes with the brown wire. If you go the stealthcord website, they have a short video of the installation.
