anyway to make the car beep instead of honk when locking it?

anyway to make the car beep instead of honk when locking it?
i know when u press the black button on the doorhandle the car makes a beeping sound...but when u press the lock button on the fob, the car honks....is there anyway to change the honk to the beep sound?

IIRC, there isn't a way to have it beep instead of the horn, however you can turn the horn off when you use the i-key to look the doors. The hazard lights will still flash twice, but you won't hear the horn. You can change the indicator modes by pressing the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on your i-key simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.

I swear I read the LOCK + UNLock for 2 seconds like three times and tried it 3 times and it still honks at me.
Alright, I just did the math and it may be that I need to do it once more but that will have to wait until this weekend.
