Understanding Tire/Rim Calculation
Hi all,
I'm a newb here researching understanding as to what makes an "appropriate" tire/rim fit. I'm not exactly clear on wheel offset, tire size, rim width calculations just yet -
But, seeing calculations displayed by this interesting calculator gave me further insight into the results of making wheel/tire changes from factory spec of any car.
The link displays the factory Infiniti 7.5 225/50/18 ET45 specs for a G37xS sedan
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...96875in&sr=0in
In my "newness" if this calculator helps 1 other person then fabulous - My apologies if it's already been posted before.
Life is never better than when we're learning something new!

Yeah, there's a few very detailed calculators out there and the one you posted does a nice job w/ the visuals. It does make it easier to understand when you try various combos and can actually see the way it plays out rather than just a screen of numbers.
Glad to see it's helping clear some things up
